Customer Review: Generator Gets Real World Test

Living on the coast of Forida, owning a generator is almost mandatory. With Hurricane Gustav looking for a victim, we ordered this generator looking for a smaller, quieter and more fuel efficent generator than the two 5.5kw generators we can power the entire house with. About a week later as Gustav passed south of us, we lost power due to the tropical force winds we were receiving. Hooked up the generator power to our 25cuft side by side refrigerator with ice in the door and it performed excellently.Customer Review: Perfect for tailgating

Pros: Ran a 20" CRT TV, 2 fans, and a set of amplified rabbit ears for over 8 hours without stopping and using less than a gallon of fuel.
Cons: Really needs to be on a level surface, can be a little loud, so long extension cords are useful, and if the fuel/oil mixture is a little rich, the oil can come out in the exhaust and make a little drippy mess, but no big deal.
I highly recommend this generator. Perfect for tailgating and other light applications.

I really do not have much to say about this product did not do well for us. The service was great we got from amazon. The product it self went bad on us a couple weeks after we had it. We can not figure out why but it does not give off full power like it should and sounds like crap. This would be the second faulty one we got the first one was damaged.
Un-satisfied customer lost on what to do with product again. Not sure what would be wrong with it when it should be brand new?

it is what it is i have a seal coating Co. and i need to run work lights in the fall when it gets dark early and it seams to run my lights fine. i figer if it last 2 years that would be ok because of the price. but all in all it works great and is a 8thof the price of my old one that died after 3 years so i am very happy. the people that sell it seam great i recived two days after buying

I wanted a small quiet generator to run a couple of fans and accessories.
This is quiet enough that at 50 feet away it is barely noticeable. It is a 2 cycle motor so requires a pre-mix and the tank is under a gallon, but that is approximately 4 hours with a light load. I would recommend this for anyone not needing over a kilowatt output and can refill every four hours. The pre-mix gasoline should be considered a deciding factor for those not familiar with it.
