Customer Review: Surprisingly warm and light at the same time

This is one super warm comforter! I normally sleep hot, and within just a few moments of sliding underneath this comforter, my bed is toasty no matter how cold the room. It certainly does have the "rustling paper" sound that other reviewers have mentioned, but I don't find that distracting (I sleep with a fan on to create white noise, anyway). It's perfect to take on a road trip, because it's not bulky at all.
I have noticed that it doesn't "breathe" as much as I would like. Because I get so warm underneath, it causes me to sweat a bit, and the comforter tends to trap that inside.

This item - a 95% feather and 5% down comforter is a real bargain at $20 (which is the price I paid for a King Size 50-oz fill version at Amazon). It is far warmer than what one might expect for a comforter of this price range. The downside of this comforter is that it is noisy. It's exterior is made of something (perhaps plastic) which makes an enormous amount of "crinkling" noise as you fold, unfold, and move it about - enough to wake you or your partner up until you get used it. I bought 5 of these, one for my wife and 1 and one for each of our kids. All of us are happy with them! They are not too heavy and provide a good amount of warmth. The only thing that would detract from the value of the comforter is that they are a little moisy, but a duvet cover should take care of that. This was a great buy for a queen-size bed as I've found that the queen/full size comforters don't do it for two people. However, you should know that like many feather and/or down comforters, even very well-made ones, the feathers tend to leak out of the casing. This effect can be reduced with an appropriate comforter cover.Customer Review: excellent and warm UPDATE: EWW save your money.

it was great for the price and keeps you nice and snugly. you will have to use it for a bout a week to break it in but after thats its pure wonder

I would MOST DEFF give this a 1 star review now, I got rid of this terrible quilt only a few months later. It is so uncomfortable.
