Customer Review: Very Good Stair Treads - Bad Selling Details

We were looking for a rubber tread with a good adhesive to install on a set of very narrow, steep, painted stairs. These fit the bill! We installed the treads, and added five screws to make sure they would not come off.
Now the bad thing about this is Amazon (or whoever) lists these (in the picture, in the deatails, etc.) as two per package. We only received one each. I ordered ten, expecting twenty pieces, and got only ten pieces. Normally not a real big deal, except that I need to get another ten pieces; and these things are absolutely impossible to find. So now I have half the stairs with these things on them, and am desperately trying to find another ten pieces. Thanks Amazon for keeping me hanging.
A side note: The rubber treads sold by Science Surplus and Supplies are crap. The adhesive (as the reviewer stated) is virtually non-existant. Oh, there's something on the back of them, but nothing sticky. We bought a few and went throught the hassle of using carpet tape, and screws. It worked out ok, but way too much hassle.
