Have been using this Brita pitcher for several months now and has been working good. I had one problem with a filter lasting not as long as the 3 month is describes. Besides that it filters the water great and has a great taste. Would definitely recommend over ever buying any bottled water again.
Description of Brita 42412 Atlantis Water Pitcher
The Brita Atlantis Pitcher provides great tasting, healthy water in a sleek, space-saving design, with a flip top lid for your convenience. The Atlantis Pitcher uses the OB03 Brita replacement cartridge and holds 6, 8 ounce glasses of filtered water. The filter will reduce chlorine taste & odor and sediment as well as leaving a healthy amount of Fluoride to promote strong teeth. Each filter will filter 40 gallons of water and needs to be replaced an average of ever 2 months. Pitcher holds up to six 8-ounce glasses of filtered water. This Brita Atlantis Pitcher is NSF/ANSI tested and certified to reduce the following contaminants: Lead (98%) Mercury Benzene Toluene Tetrachloroethylene Zinc Chlorine Taste & OdorThis pitcher combines Brita's reliable filtering with a very convenient narrow shape and flip-top lid for easy refills. To operate, simply flip the lid and fill the water reservoir, then wait a couple of minutes for it to filter through. The filter used with this system has been certified by NSF International, a testing authority for water filtration products, and reduces copper and eliminates 99% of lead in tap water. Using activated carbon as well as an ion exchange resin, it also reduces chlorine, bad tastes, odors, and sediment--making it a lot easier to drinkthe recommended eight glasses of water a day.
