Have been using Brita filters on and off for years, depending on where I am living at the time. Up until recently, I have never really felt the need to filter New York Tap. However, I began to detect a funny odor and taste; and a few comments from my husband and a friend finally pushed me to acquiesce. As in past cities I've inhabited, such as Chicago and Austin, I have been quite happy with The Brita. Great price for a great product that is helping me in my effort to be more 'green'. (Using/buying less bottled water = less plastic in the landfills). This filter produces great tasting water! It's easy! It's economical! Brita has also teamed up with Gimme5 so that you can recycle the filters easily. What's not to love!?

I have been using Brita filtered water for years. 2 of my pitchers are at least 7 years old. The filters are still the same size. Some manufacturers
change the design of their filters, forcing you to buy a new pitcher but I have never seen Brita filters change in the ten years I have used them.
This 10 pack of filters is the cheapest price I have seen online or in stores including Sam's.

I've been using Brita Water Filters for several years. I can see the difference using them makes. The water pipes in my area have sediment in them which shows up as a brown slimly coating on certain surfaces like bathroom walls and plastic cups after washing them when they have dried. We use the filtered tap water to make powered milk and in cooking. I change the filters about every 3 months.Customer Review: works well

Lived in Miami. The water there is hard, contains chlorine, flouride, lead and other harmful materials. We purchased the water cooler from Brita after spending hundreds of dollars for bottled water. Brita's water cooler uses 2 pitcher cartridges and the water tastes better than the leading bottled water. 4 years later and we still use it. Highly recommended by my family.
