I have owned this unit for about 6 months now and I love it! I can definitely tell the difference between my water before and after installing and using the Brita AquaView. Not only the color of the water but also the taste has improved. For me, the filter needs to be replaced about every 3 months (roughly 100 gallons). The 2-pack is best way to go; you always have a spare, and it's cheaper when you buy them together. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has concerns about their water quality.
