I have owned this unit for about 6 months now and I love it! I can definitely tell the difference between my water before and after installing and using the Brita AquaView. Not only the color of the water but also the taste has improved. For me, the filter needs to be replaced about every 3 months (roughly 100 gallons). The 2-pack is best way to go; you always have a spare, and it's cheaper when you buy them together. I buy these filters at Wal Mart for $23.00 a piece.
Filters fast sells them for $27.00 and it's a pack of two.
Needless to say you can't beat this price, even with the shipping ($6.95).

I can barely find these in the store anymore, and when I do find them they are considerably more expensive that the ones I purchased here. They do an awesome job of filtering out the impurities in the water, and make it taste equal to the best bottled water I've had.
