Certainly the water tastes good after the filter starts doing its thing. The flush of the filter is a lot more then it seems it should be, like 7 - 9 gallons until charcoal stopped coming through. Also, in the weeks I have had the filter installed I have yet to get the get the water to flow at "full speed". It can take 45 seconds or more to fill a 12 ounce glass. This feels like forever when you stand there facing the fridge or cabinets.Customer Review: great product

We've been using this filter for a few weeks now and it works great. While the connection to the fridge doesn't 'feel' solid, it is securely fastened to the fridge and we love it. Pick it up from Amazon if you need a replacement, this was the cheapest I could find online!
