It works as any hood in this price range should - and I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It's quiet, has separate switches for the light and fan and looks like it costs more than it does. I used it in a rental apartment I own and it fit perfectly with the stainless stove. My tenants are happy and I'm happy as a result.
It's easily installed. In my case I hung it from the bottom of the cabinet above. It's not too heavy but it's easiest as a 2 person job.

This thing was exactly what I was looking for. We moved into a new house and the existing hood was white, when the previous owner had installed new stainless appliances in the rest of the kitchen. Went to Lowes and Home Depot and the cheapest one was still over $200. This thing was affordable, looks fantastic, and works perfect. Took 20 minutes to take out the old one and put this in and it has been perfect so far.Customer Review: Simple, well made and good price.

The hood has integral punched stainless steel discharge grille, which is much better than a typical plastic grille, since it is easy to clean and it will not detach like my old one.
The light is very simply made and will accept fluorescent light bulb which will add a lot of light to the kitchen without using much energy.

This is an excellent range hood by BROAN. Well made and good looking. It deserved 5 stars. I deducted stars not because of issues with the item itself but (maybe unfairly)because the filters listed as accessories do not fit. I cannot for a minute understand why these to items would be associated.
Wasting my time now to have to return it.

It took a little longer to get this than expected; however, I was notified about the delay in shipping. It's exactly what I was hoping for, and it looks great. I would recommend this product, and I'm very happy with it. I think it's a very good deal; it has an expensive look even though it's quite reasonably priced.
