I bought one of these LED night light bulbs to try. It produced great light with low power usage, so I bought five more. I had some problems finding old-style night light bases to screw these LED bulbs into, but when I did, these LED bulbs worked fine. Nice bright LED. Lights a 15 x 12 room nicely for those nighttime trips to the bathroom. Lights a room nicely without being too bright. I have had two for about a year now. They seem to be very good quality. I have had other LED's (namely Feit) that don't last.

I hate the term cool white. It should be light blue. Bulb puts out plenty of light for a night light. About equivalent to a 7 watt incandescent bulb. Side LEDs help distribute the light more evenly compared to a single LED bulb. Would give it five stars if it came in warm white.Customer Review: ok nitelite

For what I wanted it for there is not enough light given off. In a standard nitelite fixture, it is probably find. The fixtures I'm using are heavily frosted so much of the light is lost, but heat was my major concern. These bulbs give off practically no heat.Customer Review: Nice when it works

The bulb is ideal for night lights, as the brightness is just about enough. However, the instructions should have come with a warning that these bulbs are not to be placed near any heat source, as they melt easily (could be a fire hazard as well).
