Customer Review: What a waste...

This item is useless. Do not waste your time. I installed this item and I followed the instructions perfectly and the door wont shut all the way because of the little bracket that is used. My husband tried to modify it so it would work but no luck. It also makes quite a bit of noise when you open the door. In order to have it actually pull the door shut you have to wind the line tighter which is kinda scary! While winding it it makes a horrible sound and it makes you feel like its going to snap in your face. Every time we opened the door we squinted our eyes in fear and then decided to take it off since it wouldn't allow the door to shut all the way anyhow.
