I was very pleased with this item. After a year of trouble with our 15 year old craftsman garage door opener, I replaced the sensors. It took ten minutes to do and it works perfectly now. It is very simple and faster than changing a light switch. They look pretty much identical to the original craftsman sensors, so the unit installs on the original bracket/hardware from the craftsman sensor.Customer Review: Simple Replacement

Quick and easy replacement for bad sensor on my Chamberlain 5100 (vintage 1990) door opener. The original sensors had plugs but these have wires and are simply spliced in. Problem solved. Note that you can determine whether it is the sensor or the wiring that is bad by switching sensors (not the wiring) and seeing if the unactivated green activation light on the sensors also switch sides.Customer Review: The Right Part Delivered Quickly

I couldn't believe that BOTH of the electronic eyes for my garge door opener failed at the same time and I thought I had a bigger problem. Installation was quick and easy as these new parts fit exactly the same as the old ones (from 1993). Pushed the button and the garage door has been working correctly since. These Liftmaster 41A4373A Garage Door Opener Safety Beams were needed to replace the broken safety beams that came with the Sears Craftsman Garage Door opener I purchased & installed over 10 years ago. Product arrived promptly and as described. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong item. Apparently this model is for older garage doors. Liftmaster introduced a newer version in the early nineties. You can tell the difference because the lens in the newer version does not protrude like this one. No problem with vendor - would purchase again.
