Customer Review: great markers, but too expensive for me.

i am an artist and i am always looking to buy and use new materials. i am working on a big drawing right now and i needed a marker to fill in the sky that is in it. a little surfing and i found the copic wide markers, sky color. i ordered 2 of them. i then went to a local art store and bought the copic sky sketch marker. i was shocked to see that it was 7 dollars. i needed it and had to buy it. the markers are great, they cover really nice, no bleeding, no lines. i also liked the fact that the ink did not dry to fast so you can work with it. but 7 dollars for the one, and the wide copics were 6 dollars for one. needless to say copics wont be used in my near future. if you are an artist, scrap booker, or weekend doodler, i suggest using prismacolor markers. i feel they give out the same quality the copics do, but are almost half the price. you can even find sites on the net and buy them for 2 bucks a piece. if this review was just on the copic markers and the quality, i would have given this review a 5 star rating. but for the price of them, to me they just are not worth it.
