Customer Review: Works well with the RC3200 transmitter/receiver combo

My RC3200 transmitter is installed on the first floor and I put this RC3253 receiver in the basement and it works works well (15 feet away). I set the transmitter chime to the Ding Dong front door ringer. Back door is always Dong. I did not change the default frequency setting, which may be done by sniping different connectors with fingernail clippers. You would only need to change the frequency if there is interference.
Even though this RC3253 receiver is able to produce many more chime sounds than my RC3200 transmitter, you will only get as many sounds as the transmitter is capable of making. This is because the chime setting is in the transmitter and not in the receiver.
