I purchased the gate about a month ago. The gate works great until I installed the gate lock 915GA. When using the lock, the Lock/Bipart delay switch must be in the "ON" position. This where the problem occurs. The Primary gate does not ramp (slow) down at the end of the set limit. If you have a heavy gate, mine is about 150lbs this is a problem, because the gate does a hard stop. Otherwise the transmission is the taking the full impact of the gate stop. In normal operation the gate should slow down towards the end of it's travel thus preventing damage to the housing and or transmission. The secondary gate works fine and both gates ramp down when closing. I have two gates and they both have the same problem so I believe that there is a manufacturing defect in the control boards. I am in the process of returning the one of the boards for repair to Chamberlain. Will update when I know something. 5 stars before installing gate lock. The gate lock is recommended because it prevents forced opening of the gate andd it is cheaper than replacing damaged gate parts.Description of Chamberlain GA420D PowerDrive 3200 Dual Gate Access System
