I selected these remotes because my house unfortunately came with no garage door remotes. I had to find a universal one and fortunately I came upon this brand. They are easily programmable and reliable. BUT
1) Batteries are drained within a year
2) You better be in direct sight to guarantee that the signals are transmitted.
Perhaps my expectations are too high, but I am ultimately content with this product

I love these little things. I bought two. They were easy to set up, even though my garage door opener is decades old. The buttons look and feel solid. The little light is very bright and can be seen easily even during the daytime. The signal that comes out is strong and reaches the garage even from inside the armrest in my car.
The clip is detachable, which is nice. I haven't yet had to replace the battery.

I have an older Sears/Craftsman door opener and the remote control quit working. The universal clicker wouldn't work, so I ended up replacing the receiver. I'm not certain, but it may have been the receiver was so old that it couldn't be keyed to the new clicker. The circuit board was dated 1979, and it could have been the receiver was originally the problem. I was able to use the universal clicker with the new unit.Customer Review: It is working well and very economical!

I am glad that I've found this remote control.
I bought 2 of them and they are working well with the existing garage door opener.
The only thing is you only can use it in a short distance from the garage opener.
That's what I have experienced. But other than that, I have no complaints.
It is very economical, pretty simple design, nice color, the size is pretty small - not bulky.

I am very satisfied more so with price than product itself. The remote doesnt have impressive range, but other than that it works fine and was easy enough to program. Do not become frustrated with the set up, and you shall be fine. Price was less than half of similar product at Wal-mart so that in itself did me well for not having to patronize them. For the price, this thing is awesome and worth the money.
