Tools and Hardware Reviews of Chamberlain PD432D 1/2-Horsepower Screw Drive Garage Door OpenerCustomer Review: Works great! Summary: 4 Stars
Bought this Garage Door opener to replace a Sears Craftsman chain drive opener that stripped the Drive Gear (twice) based on reviews on Amazon. Item arrived ahead of schedule (2 days) in perfect condition. Took nearly 4 hours to install (replaced the safety sensor, mounting brackets, wall switch, etc even though they looked the same/compatible).
My only complaint is I later found an upgraded model (with keypad panel) at Costco for less!
Customer Review: Very satisfied with this product Summary: 5 Stars
This is my first review, so please bear with me. This garage door opener installed without a problem and works great! I definately recommend buying this based on price, ease of installation and its quiet operation. A couple of things to point out; this unit is for a 7' door, it will not fully open an 8' door; Before beginning the installation, read the instruction manual for any bracket mounting materials you will need.
Customer Review: As expected Summary: 4 Stars
The order processed through Amazon as expected. Product arrival took a bit longer than anticipated, but came in good condition. The actual opener was easy to install, instructions were clear and it is working fine. The price was competitive. All in all no issues . Amazon delivered its promise. It would be five stars except it took a week longer than one should expect to get the product.
Customer Review: Works as expected Summary: 4 Stars
The garage door opener works as expected.
I do wish I would have purchased one with a light timer. For this one, I need to turn the light off manually, then if anybody breaks the safety ray circuit, the lights turns on and stays on until, once again, the opener light is manually turn off.
Customer Review: works great Summary: 5 Stars
Easy to install. Took my son and son-in-law 3 hours top to put in. Runs quiet and smooth. Of course it's been only 3 months so I don't know how long it will last. My Craftsman in the other bay is much noisier, but I must say the Craftsman is still running with no problems after 6+ years.
