I bought the Chamberlain as they are the manufacturer for a number of brands. The unit is of the highest quality. Of particular interest it is a snap to install and the instructions are the best written. I replaced a Genie unit and it had the same dimensions so there was no rework. I did install the new mounting brackets but the Genie ones would have probably worked fine. This is for a seven foot high door. An 8 foot or 12 foot door needs an extension (7708CB 8ft and 7710CB 10ft). The wireless keypad CLIK2U works fine with this unit. Setting it to the transmitter built into my Toyota worked after a few tries as it is a rolling code unit. A Google search taught me how ([...]). No surprise but Amazon delivery was first rate!Customer Review: A cinch!

What a pleasant surprise. I replaced a Genie system we've had since
Moby Dick was a minnow. This Chamberlain is quiet, smooth and the
electonic range limiting technology is cool. No more little switches
at the ends of the track bar! You simply adjust the limits of opening and closing with inset screws at the side of the head unit. This was
my first installation so it took me a few hours. I was moving slow
though, I was very careful to do the installation step by step. It
paid off.....unit works perfectly. 5 stars.!
By the way, go the 3/4 horse in any case. Garage door openers are like
towing capacities in trucks....there's no such thing as overkill.

Nice power, straight forward set up, easy to make adjustments, and it operates fairly quite. Overall, very pleased with it. I fitted this one on an already existing ceiling bracket and had to adjust it back 3 inches to accomodate its slight longer rail set up. I drilled some holes in the extra brackets provided to match up the fasting holes. This one replaced another Chamberlain that was 20+ years old that stopped working due to lightning striking very close to our home.
Little Cons: the light bulbs sockets do not easily fit florecents and the motion sensor tends to keep the light on a long time. This is the only knock to keep it from getting a 5 star rating.

I am a professional garage door technician, and I doing the garage door businese, some time I will choice liftmaster, most time i choice this D725D opener for my businese. very quitet and fast. this opener is a very hight quality for heavy duty door, good for all kind of residential sectional garage door and old single car one piece door with track. but not good for old one piece door without track, if you have old one piece door without track, buy screwdrive opener, because the rail is more solid and strong. NOTICE: opener rail (If real not strong enough) will broken when use on old one piece door without track even you have the powerfull opener head.Customer Review: For 7 foot doors

This unit is for 7 feet tall doors. Be sure to get the extension kit if you have the standard 8 ft. tall door.
It did take me nearly eight hours to get this installed working by myself. A video installation guide would be helpful, but Chamberlain does not seem to have one.
This is a quality product. The 3/4 h.p. motor will lift a heavy door.
A single Chamberlain remote can be programmed to work on three separate Chamberlain openers (3 buttons on the remote). An important feature if you have more than one garage door.
I did pay around $165 for this item from Amazon. Looks like the price went up.
