However, it wasn't TOO difficult either. I had help from a friend and we knocked it out in about 1-2 hours. It's very quiet, very strong. I have a two car garage with reinforced metal and this product has no problem working it out. The only complaint with it is the automatic light. That light has a mind of its own, sometimes it will work, sometimes it wont. If it doesn't I just hit the manual override button on it, and all is well. I bought this product because my old garage door opener died and a neighbor volunteered to put it in. The price was lower than I would have paid at Home Depot or Lowe's for a half horse power unit. It was easy to put up and so far the troubleshooting has been easy. Also, the chain drive technology has been around a long time and is highly reliable. It's easy to add extra opener remotes. I've added a remote and a number pad opener so far.Customer Review: Works Good

I decided on this opener because extreme cold (-20) has caused problems with others. The opener is quiet and instilation and assembly are straight foreward. The door should be reinforced where the opener attaches to prevent damage if the door bottom freezes to the floor. I wish all the manufactures would have a better mounting method for attaching the motor unit to the ceiling. The one supplied is adequite but nothing to brag about.Customer Review: Good Opener

The instructions were easy to follow and had the opener up and running in a very reasonable time. By the time I dismantled the old opener, put this one together and installed it was about 3 hours. Works better than what I had and is very quiet. Only problem was that I cannot use my old keypad on the outside of garage to operate this opener, so I had to order that. The package came on time. I got this garage door opener to replace a 10 year old 1/3 HP chain one that had died. It took about 3 hours from start to finish for the install. I decided to run new wires. I was able to reuse my tracks.
This one is quiet and has worked flawlessly so far. I have only been using it about month. It is definitely worth $[...](+/-) including shipping. This was by far the best value for the buck.
