Customer Review: Easy and convenient; what a great bargain!

*First of all, you should know this works with the Liftmaster garage openers purple learn button with a purple wire. I DO, however, understand this will work with other garage openers as well; but the compatibility is something you should find out for yourself.
I had just moved into this new house, and all of my roommates had the luxury of opening the garage door and slowly walking out the front; on the other hand, I had to get out the back door of the garage, lock the door, and walk all the way around the garage to get to my car.
Quest was simple: I want one too, I should get one.
It was pretty clear after a simple googling, purple works with 370LM remotes.
$17 - NOT BAD AT ALL.
Arrived after a few days, opened the package;
battery's already included;
pop the back of my garage opener and push the learn button;
push any of the three buttons and hold.... and VOILA! easy as that.
Currently I use the far left side for opening and closing, middle for light, and far right side for... nothing.
It's got a great range, I can push the button even before I see my garage door, and it's open all the way by the time I get to the garage.
ONE thing, as somebody else mentioned, if you want to bring it with you inside the house, be aware that you might push the button accidentally and later find out your garage door was open the next time you're about the get out. Just be careful when you throw your keys on your coffee table or whatever, but that's all.
Mine even came with velcro stickers, so I guess you could stick it to your visor in the car or something, but I'd rather have it with my keys.
Bottom line: great price, great range, 3 buttons, and easy to install.
