I'm using this with a chamberlain garage door opener and it functions perfectly. It's easy to train for use with my opener. For my Chamberlain I just had to open the light cover on the right side of my open; there you'll find a purple button. Once you push the button you get a small yellow blinking light. You have about 10 seconds to push the button you want to program to open your door. The opener clicks and lets you know your done. At that point your done. Very easy. This is my second one.
I highly recommend this. If you don't have one of these you won't know how you got along with out one of these.

I had ordered (and re-sold) several garage door openers, trying to find one that worked with my unit. I have a Craftsman garage door opener and all of the other remotes were Craftsman, as well. Finally, I found a review from another frustrated consumer who had a similar experience and said this model worked for him and also worked better than the Craftsman models that were made for his unit. He liked it so well he bought another one for his wife...maybe I'll do the same thing - and buy on for my husband. Why bother with all that red light, green light, gray light stuff? I originally ordered the wrong remote. There's no real guidance in Amazon on how to check if you are ordering the right remote. The key is the "Learn Button or Smart Button". Could be a variety of colors. Purple, orange, green etc. Just make sure you order the remote that works with the same color as yours. AspDoors exchanged my order with no problem. Item was shipped immediately, except for the return which was held up because I they had no way of doing credit card changes over the phone. I had to send them a check. This remote garage door opener is ideal for me. It works perfectly with our Sears Craftsman 315MHz garage door opener and is extremely easy to program. Just make sure the button and antenna wire on the opener is purple. This remote is small enough to go in my pocket with my keys, very similar to an auto key fob. I'm a motorcycle rider so this just makes so much more sense than a standard size opener that doesn't fit anywhere very well. Plus, I'm less likely to lose this one since it doubles as a key ring.
