I'm an engineer - and even I found this simple!
Just make sure you order the right frequency (315 or 390 MHz), as a couple of reviewers noted that they had to make an exchange after purchasing the wrong one.
And it only took 2 hours to install - 10 minutes to program and mount... and 1:50 for my gal to figure out where she wanted it.

After confirming that I had the right keypad for the opener I placed the order and received the item within a few days. Very easy to program by using the learn button (purple) on the garage door opener. After confirming that your numeric code has been entered and works it's just a matter of a couple of screws to mount the keypad and you're done.

Easy to install in minutes. No wires to deal with. Does the job efficiently and gives us access to the garage when we don't have a key. Saves me from being inadvertently locked out of the house.

I installed this unit on the garage a few weeks ago and it's great. This is the 3rd house I have added a keypad and these things just get cheaper and easier every time. I especially like that I can lower the garage door without first typing in the code. Have used the Liftmaster Garage Door Keypad since 2008 with nary a problem. They were easy to link to my Liftmaster garage door opener (DO MAKE SURE YOUR MODEL IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE 377LM), easy to install and a delight to use. They have a lighted keypad which makes them usable even on a dark night. Batteries last a LONG time.
