Tools and Hardware Reviews of Liftmaster 61LM(8/9 Dip Switch) Garage Door Remote Transmitter(See Tech. Details Below)

Customer Review: Works like a charm
Summary: 5 Stars

The Liftmaster garage opener works like a charm! The price was great and the ordering process was simple and delivered on time! Since this order, I have placed three other separate orders through Amazon.com and signed up for their free delivery that includes a free months trial. In most cases, it is hard to beat Amazon.com for service and prices!

Customer Review: Just what we needed!
Summary: 5 Stars

Since our garage door opener is a bit old, we couldn't get some of the new universal remotes to work with it. Saw the Liftmaster 61LM on Amazon and it was just like our old one. Ordered (good price too), item was shipped quickly, put in code and in about 1 minute it was opening our garage door. Very pleased with this purchase.........thank you!

Customer Review: Is it a mouse or garage door opener?
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought two to replace the non-existent openers that came with a new house. They programmed beautifully. So why a three?

1) You have to almost always hit the button twice before the door opens. This is true for both of the openers I have.

2) Closing/opening the battery door has a tendency to flip dip switches.

Customer Review: Liftmaster Garage Door Opener Remote
Summary: 5 Stars

I am very happy with this remote. The original one that was given to me was the same model, but very worn out from over use. I tried a universal remote which did not work at all. So I ended up ordering this one from Sanford & Son in Ohio, and I got it within a few days, and I programmed it to my opener and it works like a charm.

Customer Review: Not bad for the price..
Summary: 3 Stars

This product was purchased because I had bought a foreclosed home and did not have any openers for the garage. It was completely easy to program...took all of two seconds. However, the button seems to stick a lot. I have to pinch the sides together to get the button to release. Other than that, it was a good buy for the price.
