I was needing another garage door remote control for my liftmaster garage door opener and found this one. I wasn't sure whether it would work, but it looked like it would according to my manual. Brought a third car (pickup). Got tired of going to other car removing garage door opener and walking out to other car then closeing garage door. Super easy to install. I researched and purchased the Liftmaster 81LM Garage door opener remote for a 1994 Sears Craftsman system. The remotes were easy to program and took only a few minutes. The size is small and unobtrusive. I would also recommend the three button remote, I believe it is 83LM.Customer Review: It does the job

It opens the door and it shuts the door. It is a direct replacement for the factory remote. I wish it had an LED but other than that it is great.
I'm taking off a star since it doesn't have an LED. How much are they saving on that? A couple of pennies?
