We picked one of these up to replace the garage door opener that was lost. The device is small, seems durable, has a handy clip attachment to fit on a sun visor, and works from down the street about as far as any garage door opener I've ever had. It's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, though it is definitely too big for a pocket and probably a little big for purse. It synced with our garage door very easily. I needed an extra garage door opener when my daughter started driving and bought a car. This opener works like it should, Lift-Master is a great product, but the reason I am writhing a review is for the customer service I received from Sanford and Son. Their service was excellent. I give this product 4 out of 5 stars, it does exactly what it's supposed to and for my garage door opener it does it well!
I only gave it 4 stars though as it's range is kinda lacking, I am not sure if that's the remotes fault or not but sometimes I need to be in front of my neighbors house before it will open, not a huge deal as everything works pretty reliably once I get to that point.
I would recommend this product.

If you are looking for 971LM garage door opener for Liftmaster with the red / orange reset button. ORDER it here. Ordered sunday night and was delivered thursday in the mail to Dallas Tx. Under 18.00 delived to my door, the big hardware chain stores wanted nearly 35.00 for a universal unit. Buy two and keep a spare, I did. This garage Door opener was the exact model I needed to replace the one I had lost. Other garage door openers I researched would work, but were not the exact replacement and they were much more expensive. I have had success ordering from Amazon and have been pleased with the purchases. I recently purchased a rolling walker that was almost half price from other places I saw the same model listed. Thank you Amazon.
