This was a great purchase - it arrived promptly and worked the first time. Sears told me my logic board was bad on my garage door opener and suggested I buy a new one. It didn't make sense to me so I took a gamble and ordered the remote. Glad I didn't listen to Sears and simply replaced the remotes since the "craftsman" brand remotes tend to lose their security + functionality when the batteries die and revert to the old rolling code technology. I'd highly recommend these as replacements to your craftsman openers or for spares if you have a number of cars like we do.Customer Review: Not what I hoped for

This might be a good product in and of itself, but I wish the information on it had been more clear. I needed a second opener that would work with my existing unit, and thought I could program this remote to match what I have. However, the way this transmitter works is by reprogramming your system to fit itself. It cannot be calibrated to fit your system. So if you are looking for a single replacement remote and you have an orange programming light on your garage unit, this may work for you. But if you want a second or spare opener, look elsewhere.Customer Review: Exactly what I needed

I needed an additional garage door opener for my girlfriend's car. This model was inexpensive and got pretty good customer reviews, so I gave it a try. It is exactly what I needed. The LiftMaster motor has an orange button on the side that you press to transmit the signal, and then hold down the button on the remote unit until the lignt on the motor begins to blink. It took ONE SECOND for the light to blink, it couldn't have been easier. If your LiftMaster unit has the orange button, then this is the remote control you need.Customer Review: Easy as pie -and cheap, too!

When my last tenant left, taking two of my Liftmaster garage door openers, I was anxious that it would be troublesome and expensive to get new ones that worked with my door.
I could have not been MORE pleased when I found these for sale on Amazon at a VERY reasonable price. Buying two got them shipped FREE (AND no Sales Tax!) . .FAST shipping .. AND it was a piece of cake to 'program' them to the existing opener . .just press two buttons . . DONE!
I am a VERY satisfied customer!

This remote works only when the nose of my car is within five feet of the garage door AND I have the visor down. (The remote is attached to the visor, so putting the visor down allows the remote to transmit through the windshield rather than through the roof of the car.) I suppose the batteries could be old, but if they are, then that is another problem -- this product comes with built-in lithium batteries that are supposed to last five years and would be expensive to replace.
