I purchased two of these controllers to work with my Craftsman garage door opener. They work better than the original controllers that came with the opener. Before I got the replacement controllers, I considered replacing the garage door pener because it was hardly remote control-able.
I don't remember what I paid but Amazon has the lowest price that I could find locally or on the web.

I bought a Liftmaster 973LM remote because the Craftsman remote was barely working, even with new batteries. I've been very happy with the Liftmaster remote. It opens and closes the garage door a good 50 to 75 yards from my house, whereas with the old one, I had to be positioned right in front of the door. I even bought a second one for my wife!

We bought two of these openers. They were the cheapest ones we could find on the web site. Work great. The walnut finish actually is nicer than the OEM grey finishes on the Liftmaster units. An excellent buy seeing as you can get two of these w/shipping and still be less than the cost of one unit at the local big box stores. I'd buy them again.Customer Review: WOW

This thing actually works! I never would have believed it if I didn't see it myself. All you have to do is push a button on this thing and then your garage door goes up OR down! Absolutely Amazing. Before purchasing this remote, my family had total of 4 Liftmaster 973LM remotes. We have been using them for more than 8 years. They have never failed us. We purchased this remote for our additional vehicle. It took 2 to 3 minutes to set this remote up. It worked... And I believe that it will work for years as I learned from our other 4.
