Customer Review: Excellent bike stand, especially for disc brakes

This bike stand is a steal! It is well made and my two Novara mountain bikes with disc brakes fit perfectly inside. I use it also to keep my bikes from falling over when I load them in my van. I realize that this is a specialized application, but for those to whom it applies rest assured that this light weight device works perfectly for that purpose. This stand is a nicely engineered support for two bikes. There are two options for how the bikes are held with relation to each other. I have mine headed in opposite directions so the handlebars do not tangle.
This is a quality stand, that is well finished, lightweight, and EASY to assemble. With free shipping from Amazon, you can't beat the price.

Set up time was 20 - 30 mins.
Material is a bit weak, (easily stripped nuts, paint buckled when nuts were tightened down.) but very sturdy. Good instructions. Once completed had to bend it to the correct shape so it would sit flat on the floor. Compact, perfect for small spaced areas - 2 feet wide. For this cost, I recommend it.

Great racks. I bought 4 and love them. We use them at a cottage and in the winter we can bring them in and keep the bikes from falling all over the place. I have another brand thats black and it is not near as sturdy and my kids bikes still tip over with that one. This rack can be assembled so the two bikes face the same direction or opposite directions. It hold mountain bikes with 26 in. wheels fine. It is a bit snug on 700c wheels though. 700c wheels tend to get stuck in the rack since the rack height is not sufficient.
