Customer Review: Nice product, terrible instructions, smells bad

Just like everything else made in China, this thing stinks and the instructions are absolutely terrible. All in all, it took about 3 hours to put together. The finished product is nice looking, but the thing reaks of chemicals. I'm hoping that goes away in time.
The seller did not pack the box very well and several pieces of wood were cracked, chipped, or scratched. I had to go out and buy some touchup paint to fix the damage done in shipping.
If I had to do it all over again, I would have bought something locally.
