puff away! You do need to read the instructions before use! we needed something that was more environmentally friendly and this was the one we tried first. Charge the air gun and we needed to puff over 20 times, to get the results we wanted. Maintenance required a lot less puffs! it is very easy to use and i wished they had a shield for those drain holes that had a cover that couldnt be removed. We managed to get the same effect by reversing the positin of one the shields! For the price, this is not bad at all, requires a little elbow grease, but I rather do this than pour more environmentally irresponsible liquid down the drain.Customer Review: Very pleased. A toilet in my house was filling to the brim and then very slowly subsiding. Plunging did not fix it. My 6 foot Ridgid toilet snake did not fix it either.
This tool cleared the block after 3 tries. I pumped the tool about 20 times each try (the recommended maximum being 30 pumps). I held the tool very firmly in place to reduce blowback. There was a little bubbling of water around the edges of the sealing device each time I shot air, but there was no spatter, maybe because I only did 20 pumps.
This is a real useful tool, easy to use, and in this case created no mess.

I always hated putting toxic chemicals down the drains to clear them. The mere fact that you can't be in the same room, for fear of stripping your nasal passages, while they do their thing is disturbing on many levels.
The Cobra air blaster works instantly for most blockages and you get a great workout for your pecs while you pump the air chamber!!
One caveat - you will have to clear the drains more frequently than you did with the disgusting chemicals, but the drains clear immediately and it's so easy to do that you won't care.

This is a great product for clearing drains that will not clear with products such as Liquid Plumber. Liquid cleaners work by dissolving the clog. That works pretty much only on hair. I had a serious clog of dirt left from my wife washing our dog (that was born to be filthy) in the tub. Dirt - of course - does not dissolve. I pumped the blaster up (I used the new and improved model which is not a pistol grip), fired it once, and the drain ran clear. A memorable and impressive experience!Customer Review: BEWARE

Bought this cause my bathtub gets stopped now and then. Actually seemed to be working well, my clogs were gone, come to find out, that the air pressure was too much for my older plumbing and ruptured my pipes. This caused way more damage and money than the cost of buying this to unstop my drains. So if your clog seems to have vanished, check your pipes, they may be gone.
