Tools and Hardware Reviews of Columbia River Knife and Tool 9075 Li'l Guppie Multitool, Grey/BlackCustomer Review: A lot of superfluous stuff, but overall pretty cool Summary: 4 Stars
I was looking for a caribiner to hold my keys. I used to carry a cheap caribiner clip with a knife in it, clipped with an LED light and bottle opener. This tool got rid of the need for a bottle opener, but I still attach an LED light. I find a lot of the other tools to be extraneous, especially the wrench. The wrench is tiny and I have yet to come across a bolt that I'd need to wrench in an emergency The phillips is also useless to me -- it's too big and loose to do any intricate work, but too small to help out with more significant work. However, these things don't really hurt you to have. The last Con I can think of is the weight. This thing isn't light for a keychain, and because one side is thicker (and the wrench part is obviously very thick), your keys can't spin all the way around, making it slightly bulkier than a regular caribiner.
Now that all that is said, it is a very cool tool to have, if only for the fact that you are always prepared for a multitude of situations. The knife is absolutely awesome- has held an edge nicely and is the perfect size for opening packaging, letters, etc. I've never tried to lever anything with it, but that need is largely negated with the flat head screwdriver and bottle opener, which are also solid pieces of work.
If I had my druthers, I'd lose the wrench to lose some bulk, and also the "money clip" which is useless to me. Otherwise, it's a fine tool for a really good price, with a really good knife.
