Well I finally got the little booger, or should I say the really big one. I tried many of the traps listed online, and also the peanut pellets, but nothing would get rid of the mole which was tearing up my front manacured lawn and the mulch in my flower bed for the last 2 months.
This trap really works, and like others have said, if you don't catch something in 24 hours, than move the trap to a new location.
It took me a week to catch this pesky mole once I received the trap because the ground was soggy from the rain, and this makes the trap difficult to set because it continously sinks into the ground.
It also seems that it made it difficult for the mole to push up the ground to set off the trap from the weight of the wet soil, so I suggest to not set the trap up when the ground is soggy.
Once the ground dried up though, I set the trap, and within 12 hours it went off. I have to tell you that this morning was the happiest day in the last 2 months as my wife ran in the house to tell me that the trap had gone off, and when I pulled it out of the ground, there was this giant mole which was twice the size of a mouse.
