We've had moles in our backyard for 12 years, but this summer/fall they've gotten out of control and the entire half acre back yard is riddled with mole trails, making mowing very unpleasant. I first tried Trapline mole traps and ten days later had not caught a single mole, even though I followed the directions to the letter and moved the traps every 24 hours. Using the Easy Set Mole Eliminator Traps I caught a large mole in less than a day. The trap is very simple to use, no digging required. And for the squeemish, the mole is clamped tight between the downward pointing scissor blades and there's no blood or messiness. Because I have indoor/outdoor cats I covered my traps with a bucket and set a brick on top. You may be able to find these traps cheaper on Ebay. I bought two for $20.00 each. Bought the competitor brand, messy as you have to dig to set them. As if the moles haven't already done enough. I have 3 acres of yard and it was pretty well destroyed by them when I bought the place. The other traps were time consuming to move and required cutting slots in the soil in order for them to clamp down on the critters. The wire tek, while more expensive is very easy to set, creates little or no visible damage to the yard and is easy to move. The other advantage is that when tripped it is easy to spot. While set it is virtually invisible due to the low profile. Caught 4 in 3 days, I'm happy. I'm giving the competitors traps to the neighbors or throwing them in the trash. Read the reviews and purchased this trap. The moles have half destroyed my once smooth back yard. Dirt volcanoes everywhere followed by dirt spots devoid of grass following my tamping down the volcanoes. Mowing with my riding lawn mower in the back yard now nearly causes my fillings to fall out because the ground is so bumpy from the mole tunnels and damage.
When the moles started getting my well-manicured front lawn I set out a "Best Mole Trap". Went out with the family and a just a few short hours later that mole was D-E-A-D. The trap worked exactly as advertised. Mr. Mole was crushed in his midsection by the forceful pinchers! I haven't seen any additional damage to my front yard. Now I am fearlessly going after any other mole that dares enter my domain!

This is the best product I've ever used to kills moles. It works! I've killed two moles in four days this week. I have previously tried liquid sprays, pellets, sonic repellers, plunger-type traps, and claw traps. None of these worked. This one WORKS. It is extremely easy to set because you use your foot to step down on it, not your hands. Also, it sits closer to the ground than the plunger and claw type traps I've used before. It did take about three days before I placed the trap on top of the right mole run. It may take some trial and error on your part, too. I bought two of these traps and am thinking about ordering a third because I've got such a wide-spread infestation of moles this year. We have a large landscaped area that has been plagued by moles for several years. We have paid companies to get rid of them, and bought countless other traps. In the end nothing seemed to work long-term, and results were very slow. Bought two of these traps, and didn't have much success the first week. It took me a week to determine which tunnels were active, but once I did I caught two moles within two days. One trap caught a mole 30 minutes after I set it. The one thing I should have done was stamp down all the tunnels in our landscape to see where they appeared the next day. This would have saved me a week trying to determine, which ones were active. This is so easy to set and move, and results were great.
