Tools and Hardware Reviews of Wire Tek 1001 EasySet Mole Eliminator Trap

Customer Review: Best Mole Trap!
Summary: 5 Stars

Don't even bother with buying the traditional plunger style traps. Save yourself time, money and aggravation by buying the EasySet. I've used the traditional traps for over ten years but have now put them away after using the EasySet Mole Eliminator Trap. They are a lot easier to set and are more successful at killing moles. I use to set out five traps on one mole run in hopes of killing one mole. I would say my success rate was probably 25% or less. With the EasySet I usually set out two traps where one is probably all I need. This past week I killed four moles with 100% success rate. These things are fantastic!

Customer Review: Death in the first hour
Summary: 5 Stars

Just like the other reviewers stated; I caught my first mole in the first hour out of the box. I tried several other traps and poisons to no avail. After some research on what the pros use, I found this death machine. I noticed that sometimes when I set it, the trigger gets a little crooked, but I just pull it up by hand and straighten it out. I also found that if your ground is pretty spongy, you may need to pull it back out about an inch otherwise it will false trigger as the ground swells back up and trips the trigger. Well worth the money. There are a few retailers on ebay who offer quantity discounts.

Customer Review: Finally something that works
Summary: 5 Stars

I tried everything from Victor Out-of-Sight traps to poison pellets to Juicy Fruit gum. I had no progress until I got this trap, but now have three confirmed kills and counting.
I live in South Florida. Very sandy soil. It's the rainy season, so the mole tunnels are close to the surface. I check every day for freshly dug-up sand and place the trap in the tunnel. It's very easy to set. It's taken between 12 and 72 hours after setting to get the varmits. Never had a false trip. If the trap doesn't trip in 3 days, I move it to fresher tunnels.

Customer Review: This trap Rocks!
Summary: 5 Stars

Our house is nearly surrounded by wooded areas. Frustrated with lawn mole damage and lack of success with the spear plunger type trap, I bought this item because I found it recommended on another site. Within 2 hours of setting it I had one varmint. Within 2 days I had 3 varmints for 3 sets. I'm impressed! Almost wish I had more moles to clobber. In 2 days I bagged more moles than I did all summer with the plunger trap. Also, the trap is very well made. Well worth the money.

Customer Review: Mole Killer
Summary: 5 Stars

I have tried everything to get moles from bubblegum to this trap. The Best mole trap is just that. Like all mole traps, if you don't find the main run you will not get them. That is the hardest part. When you finally find the main run, set this trap and within 24 hours you will have your trophy! I get a bigger rush from killing these little buggers than if I shot a 10 point buck. The mole feels no pain because they die instantly, so don't worry PETA.
