The telescopic pole is a piece of junk. Taking it out of the box it collapsed all the way in itself rendering it useless. My first hour with this product was spent trying to get the little plastic pieces lined back up so it would go back together and lock in place. The assembly instructions just say "make it look like figure 1" which is about a 1 inch by 2 inch picture too small to be of any help. The pieces do not fit together well so it seems like it is being put together in the wrong order or pieces are upside down or something.
After turning the water container upside down to place it in the holder the spring loaded valve was not sealed so it spilled water all over the carpet. It is advertised as good for curtains but the hose is too short to reach the top and when doing the bottom it gurgles and spits water.
The hose is not very flexible at all.
Occasionally it spirts a little water on whatever you are steaming unless you are holding the head perfectly vertical and not moving it.
You will have to either pick it up or set it on a stool or something to do the curtains. There is no handle to lift or move the thing, you will have to pick it up by the pole. The wheels are tiny so making it roll on carpet or tile with grout is difficult, tipsy, and dangerous since the steamer holder is right at face level.
The steam output is not adjustable and the only way to pause the steam is to turn the whole unit off. If you want to do a number of items it runs constantly while you change out articles etc making your walk in closet a steam bath.
The only good thing about this product is that I live in Arizona and it makes a good humidifier.
Other people seem to like it so maybe I am just too dumb to put it together and use it successfully, I don't really think so though.
