Tools and Hardware Reviews of Conair Ultimate Thermal Spa Bath Mat with Remote Control and Massage

Customer Review: Disappointing
Summary: 1 Stars

PROS: Great bubble strength/action.
CONS: Everything else. 1) The entire unit is very short in length. (I am 5'8" and the "neck" massager came to my mid-back.) 2) You cannot tell that the neck massager's vibration is even working (possibly due to the great bubble strength) 3) The unit is uncomfortable to sit or lay on 4) The bubble action cools down even the hottest water quite quickly.

If you do decide to try this product, double-check the company's return policy carefully. I bought mine from dealyard.com and they charged a 10% restocking fee. By the time I paid return shipping, I would have lost about half of what I paid for it, so I'm keeping it despite all of the things I don't like about it!

Customer Review: Not Horrible
Summary: 3 Stars

Hubby is using his for the first time as I write this. We got it today ... ordred from [...]! They had a great sale!
Hubby says it's too rigid ... doesn't like the so called neck rest or the foot things. What he does like it the 3 speeds and LOTS of bubble action. He says no problem with the "cold air bubbles" like the last one he had ... may have something to do with running a few inches of pure hot water and letting it sit for a bit before adding enough to get in. He is going to be "altering" it to make it, hopefully, more comfortable. He's only 5' 10" and it seems a bit on the short side if you ask me. Would I say "don't buy" ... no. Would I say it's "perfect" ... no. Hope this info was helpful.

Customer Review: Conair Ultimate Thermal Spa
Summary: 4 Stars

OK, so this is not as good as a Spa, but for the price & convenience, I like it. It is rigid but once you get seated on it, it is comfortable. I have a textured bottom tub so of course the suction cups do not stick. I run a few inches of water in the tub, add my Dead Sea Salts, and get in & finish filling it up. Don't turn it on until you get in & finish filling the tub. If you do not have one of the deeper, bigger tubs then I'd suggest getting one of the overflow drain covers so you can fill the tub up some more. It makes taking a bath a lot more enjoyable & after a hard day at work, it soothes all of my aches & pains. It has a lot of bubble action. I hope this helps anyone, I would recommend this.

Customer Review: "Thermal" Spa Bath Mat
Summary: 4 Stars

Arrived in excellent condition and worked as indicated right out of the box with minimal setup. Of course it is also very simple to use. I wouldn't recommend for smaller tubs as the bath mat's frame is rigid and angular preventing it from sitting properly if the tub is significantly curved. A large tub (sorry for not having any dimensions to suggest) should handle it fine though.
By the way, the "thermal" in this thermal spa is nothing special (which was expected). Bath water's temperature isn't increased but more or less maintained using somewhat warm air involved with the bubbling action. And it's a lot of bubbling which is not a bad thing at all.

Customer Review: Great product though mat is a little short
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this spa because I no longer have a jetted tub. Set up was easy. I love the remote! Tear down took a little more time, due to drying out the mat, but it wasn't bad. The only down side is the length of the mat. I'm 5'6 with a short torso. The mat, even with the foot rest down, was still too short. Also, the neck rest hit me at the the top of my shoulders instead of the middle of my neck. That was a bummer. I couldn't fully enjoy the massage features in the neck rest. Over all, I recommend this product for the price. It would be nice if Conair could make the mat adjustable in length.
