Customer Review: Hard to find circuit breaker

Zinco boxes, as you probably know or else you wouldn't be looking for this one, are essentially obsolete. Connecticut Electric purchased the rights, if that is the correct way to say it, and now makes the breakers. I toyed with the idea of getting a used Zinco breaker for about half the price of the new one, and decided instead it wasn't worth the risk. With this breaker I felt the issue was it not being able to break many times before it died, and I didn't know what condition the used breaker was in, and actually it is next to impossible to tell anyway.
My son encouraged me to get the new one. I'm glad I did. Zinco breakers are always going to be expensive so it is not an issue to be able to compare them price wise with more popular and current brands. I looked around to see if I could find one at at a retail store and I couldn't find this model in stock. I believe the price was more than fair, and for sure less than the prices advertised elsewhere. So I am satisfied with the unit and the price.
I use Amazon Prime so it was here in two days. That was a big help as well. I just feel I spent way too long trying to decide if I wanted the new one or the used one. My ambivalence was getting the best of me! That was a clue I would feel better off and more confident with a new unit.
It fit great. The unit and its hook ups are upgraded from the one I pulled out, so I am glad I went with this model.
