The soldering pencil is very light with a good control. The temperature control is very fast and precise.
The stand is heavy enough to hold the gun easily and keep it safe.

I use the "big brother" to this unit at work - the EC2002M. I actually prefer the WES51 since the handle on the pencil is smaller and easier to use. A great little iron.Customer Review: An excellent soldering iron. A cut above the rest.

A fine piece of gear... not many frills, but a solid soldering station. How long have Weller products been around? They must be doing something right.
