Customer Review: Easy Assembly, Great Chair Stepstool

I read some of the reviews of people complaining about the assembly so I warned my spouse, who absolutely abhores putting stuff together. Putting one of our kid's bikes together at Christmas time years ago turned him into a monster. When I came home, the stepstool chair was all put together and he was in a good mood. No extra parts. Everything fit where it was supposed to go. He said of all the things he "had" to put together in the past, the instructions that came with this chair were the easiest to understand. I have been wanting one of these for years - it reminds me of my Grandma's from when I was a little girl. My children gave this to me for Mother's day so I would not have to keep lugging the larger step ladder out to get to my higher kitchen shelves. It was easy to assemble, great looking in my kitchen, wonderful memories both of the past and now of the present, and is very easy to use. Not to mention it gives me an extra seat for when people want to help me cook. I love it and would highly recommend it to others.Customer Review: Dangerous, Flimsy, Manufactured poorly

The marketing of this chair is nice, that's it, don't be fooled. When it arrives prepare for considerable "assembly required". Several pieces had to be modified by bending the openings wider to allow the screws to go through. The chair is much smaller than the picture portrays and the legs are uneven. I would not let any children or elderly use this product. It is poorly manufactured, flimsy, and dangerous. Hard to return after you spent an hour putting it together. We needed a stool like this in our kitchen. We like the vintage look. It works for what we wanted, but my husband did have to tune it up a bit. It did not sit quite level. He ground down 2 of the legs to remedy the problem. Hopefully we received the only one with this issue. After that, it sits very nice and comes in real handy when we need to reach a higher cupboard. They should come up with more color choices to match everyone's decor. It was delivered fast and packaged well.Customer Review: Just like Grandmother's

Facing open heart surgery, I needed to find a stool I could use not only in the kitchen but around the house during my recovery. I wanted one that was sturdy, could be used not only as a stool to sit on, but as a step stool to reach things. I told my husband I wanted one "just like the red stool Grandmother kept in her kitchen pantry". We looked everywhere and could not find one that lived up to my expectations. My husband got on-line and found exactly what I was looking for!
