What can you say, it is sturdy, I love the area for paint or other things you might need (like your light bulbs) while working. Not as easy to unfold ( you got to use 2 hands) but that kinda comes with being more sturdy. Highly recommend, only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that mine came with a small spring loaded part part dropped out. Took me like 2 minutes to replace and can't figure out how it ever came out but just being honest. I like it or I would have returned it :) UPDATE: 18 months later and I used it all summer long for dozens of projects and it was great, I especially like feeling secure when you are up on it and not "wobbly" like others I owned previously. We needed more than a standard step stool for our new condo. Having limited space, the Cosco 11-880-PGY looked like it would meet our needs. The favorable reviews convinced us to order it. It is everything I hoped and more. One of my favorite features is that I can fold it up and set it behind a door. A standard door stop keeps the door from hitting it and it stands in place without anything to hold it. This is on carpet, so I don't know if it would work on a hard surface, but this is a really convenient feature. This step stool is very sturdy and easy to use. I am a chicken when it comes to heights, but this step ladder's large steps/platforms (largest of ANY Cosco makes by the way) is the best step ladder around. And the tray, tool holder and papertowel rack work very well. Everyone wants to use my step stool now - in fact I just bought a second one for work use. I like it that well. Worth every penny, and the safest and most comfortable step stool around. It is a bit on the heavy side for me (a lady) to carry any distance, but I can carry it with both hands. I still know this is the best product and worth the cost.Customer Review: They don't make them any better than this!

I am a large woman who has fallen off two other step stools due to my size and also the poor design(peg like legs). This one is rugged, sturdy, yet light enough for anyone to carry around. The steps have ridges on them so there's no slipping. You have to feel safe in order to be safe. This is definetly designed for safety with the big steps and large handle at the top to hold on to. The big tray at the top is also another feature that is very handy. It will easily hold a bucket of paint and other supplies. Great for indoors or outdoors. This is one of the BEST step stool/ladder's...especially for the size, price and functionality.
It's very sturdy and strong....yet light and easy to move and manuever...i shopped around both via internet and in a few stores...and this brand & type step stool/ladder gives u the best quality and the best price.
A "must" have product in any home/apartment to help w/all those jobs that u need a step ladder for...so absolutely i recommend that u get this one...:>)
