We don't live in a big city, so unusual size things like doorbell buttons just don't get stocked at the hardware stores. This particular button is unusually long (which we like) but that also means it was difficult to replace without going online. This doorbell button arrived quickly, was easy to install, and works fine. A word of advice: we did not buy it from Home Depot, but their web site provided excellent step-by-step details on how to replace a wired doorbell button.
Description of Lighted Surface Mount Doorbell Button
Antique bronze finish with white button. This unique doorbell button has a column design reminiscent of ancient Roman architecture. Two lines accented in gold curl inward at the top and bottom. The antique bronze finish has deep lines that add texture to the column. A lighted button in the center provides night visibility. With its swirling lines, gleaming gold highlights and chocolate-colored finish, it will add elegance to any outdoor entryway. This button measures 3.81 inches in height and the distance between the screw holes is 3.1 inches.
