Customer Review: Bought 4 - three work well, 4th one was defective

We bought four of these earlier this week, four of them seem to work fine, we are please with them so far (we have them outside and they have not gotten wet at this point). The fourth rope, is defective and the outside sheath slides up and down loosely on the rope core and we are requesting a replacement.
Description of Crawford-Lehigh MFP8100 3/8-Inch-by-100-Foot Diamond Braid Poly Rope, Colors Vary
This 3/8" x 100' hank Multi-color all purpose diamond braid poly rope. Use around water - it floats and resists rot and mildew. Excellent for use at the job site. Because of its light weight, polypropylene (poly) is the only rope which floats, and for this reason is very popular for use as pool markers and water sports. Poly is affected by sunlight deterioration (more so than any other synthetic or natural fiber rope), but its life can be extended by storing it away from direct sunlight. Poly begins to weaken and melt at 150 F, the lowest melting point of all synthetic ropes. It is not as strong as nylon or polyester, but two to three times stronger than manila. Because poly is less expensive than other fibers, it is the most popular all-purpose rope for the average consumer.Rope Tools
