Customer Review: Clothesline doesn't stay tight

I was looking forward to my retractable clothesline, set it up, tightened it, using the wraparound hook, and hung clothes. BUT, it slowly loosens up, getting lower and lower. I fixed the problem, using a clothesline prop, but shouldn't have to do that. They should stay tight like the manufacturer says. Otherwise, it's very handy on my back porch, because I'm unable to walk around on the ground at my yard clothesline.Customer Review: Sturdy product, quite large

This is the sturdiest clothesline we've ever purchased. The line is thick and strong, the tension holds (rather than droops, like some other clotheslines) and is easy to put away. It is, however, quite large. We live in an apartment, so it is quite visible on our 12-ft balcony. A better fit for a larger, outdoor space, I think. Very sturdy, easy to use. I only need 30 feet of line and I like that it can be taken down when we move. I attached it to our house and then the other end with the hooks provided to a tree. Line stays tight by wrapping the line around the bottom built in hook. I am very happy, it does sag when I have a full load on it, but so did my old stationary clothes line.Customer Review: great clothesline

This order arrived promptly. Attachment to the house was simple, with 2 screws that were supplied. I like that it folds "flat" when not in use, but my favorite feature is that it has a "cleat" to wrap the line around so it will not pull out any further than you want it. The 40 foot length is perfect, giving me extra line if I need to wrap it around the tree.Customer Review: so far so good

so far this product is working perfectly, i had seen some other reviews of clotheslines that made me worried. but this went up without any problem, and has held plenty of wet jeans, towels, and sheets with out any issues. the cleat on the bottom makes it easy to keep the line taut and my husband loves the ability to put it away when i'm done.
