Tools and Hardware Reviews of Croscill Fabric Shower Curtain Liner, WhiteCustomer Review: Fabric Shower Curtain Summary: 5 Stars
I quit using vinyl shower curtain liners years ago to eliminate the harmful VOCs they give off and switched to fabric liners which are so much nicer.
They do discolor after a year or so because of our hard water, but they will look better longer if tossed in the washer with a load of towels every few weeks.
When they no longer look nice, I recycle by using them as drop cloths for painting.
Customer Review: If you dislike plastic liners, this is a perfect alternative Summary: 5 Stars
I no longer buy plastic shower curtain liners due to the outgassing odors that the new shower curtains emit. The smell is so strong and toxic it makes me ill. So now I only buy the fabric liners which do a decent job of keeping shower droplets/spray in. My last liner bit the dust so this one was an excellent replacement for an excellent price ($11) with free shipping and no tax. I highly recommend.
Customer Review: Happy with it until it was washed Summary: 3 Stars
Let me start by saying that I like things clean and fresh. When this liner started to show some mildew (yeeeuck) even after rinsing/cleaning out my tub after each use, I put it in the washer. Perhaps it is my fault for using a mild detergent, but it removed the water-resistance from the shower curtain liner and leaked through as soon as it was rehung and used. Aside from that, I loved the quality.
Customer Review: Great product for the money Summary: 5 Stars
I love this product! I bought it to replace a vinyl shower curtain liner. This shower curtain is attractive and hangs nicely. I have had it only a few months, but it appears to be durable. Although it has a silky fabric feel, water beads up on it. The gromits are silver, rather than matching the curtain. I would have liked them to be white, but then the color might have worn off over time.
Customer Review: DISAPPOINTED Summary: 2 Stars
I bought three of these shower curtains and only recently took one out of the package to use. Some of the eyelets came out while I was putting it up, and I had to sew a strip on the top so that I could put in button holes to replace the eyelets. What can you expect from a product made in China? Once up, it does repel water, but I have only used it a couple of times since installing it.
