Our main purpose in purchasing this product was to get rid of that dang "itch" we got after showering. Sure enough, worked like a charm! We have hard water and the city adds quite a bit of chlorine, but this fixed it right up. My wife and I have both noticed that we no longer get "the itch" after showering. Easy to install (less than 10 minutes) and great results from it. My skin used to be dry and required lotion, baby oil, etc. after showering but not any more. My skin feels great and flexible due to the filter removing the chlorine from my tap water.
This is a great gift for your skin! I highly recommend it!

I don't own a water softner, so I hoped that this would help in the shower. It doesn't do much. The water is still fairly hard and leaves residues as well as making my skin dry. Of course, we have awful water in Central Florida, and I am more sensitive to hard water than most. It could be that it's just the placebo effect, but I seems that the water is softer and less chlorinated with this. Since I have no way to measure it, it could be all in my head.
Either way, I like it, and would buy it again. Mounting it was a breeze, I just used some of that white plumber tape.

I am only a little disappointed that I had some trouble in attaching it to my handheld showerhead. It seems more unstable a connection than I had hoped for but other than that, I love it for its filtering quality. I needed a special way to filter my water since I have lymphoma and skin dryness from chemo.
