Customer Review: Never Used, not helpful for state park camping.

I had never owned an RV before I bought my 16ft travel trailer. My parents had an RV almost the entire time I grew up. They use one and like it and suggested that I buy one of these with the other goodies I needed to get started. I camp at mostly state parks in Michigan, they are the nicest, most natural, and least expensive. However, they do not offer full hookups, you fill up when you get there and dump when you leave, using water sparsely. I guess I could attach this when filling up but my fresh water tank is smaller than the combined holding of my grey and black water tanks, so I use up all my fresh water before I need to go dump, so I end up using a 5gal jug and carrying water from the spicket to the campsite, thus negating any beneficial effects using the filter would have. I camped all last year and haven't had any problem with rusty colored water or rings in the toilet. If you were the type of camper like my parents who like full hook-ups, parking on a bed of grass at a place with a pool and an arcade, then buy this, if you rustic or semi-rustic camp at state parks, this is useless.
