Tools and Hardware Reviews of Culligan US-EZ-1 EZ-Change Undersink Drinking Water Filtration System, 3,000 GallonCustomer Review: Easy install easy to use Summary: 5 Stars
Over all and price included everything is great.
After placing the order is was just a matter of waiting for the item to be delivered.
Once it arrived I checked the inventory which was all there. This filtration system is the 2nd under the sink system that I have installed. The other company gave us years of great water, however the filter became impossible to find and the filter housing was leaking when in use which caused us to use a drip pan. Our old system cost 3 times more than the new " culligan system " and I installed it back in 1996.
This Culligan system was a breeze to install. It has far less tubing required than the old system. Now there is more room under the sink which tickles the wife somehow.
When the install was complete I was not all stressed out or anything. Just tickled that it went smooth. I should have went Culligan to start with. I can see that there is parts to order for my new system should I need them and a variety of filters to choose from. The old system did not. I should mention that the old system was from the "Pur" folks. Never again!!

Customer Review: Excellent product for the money! Summary: 5 Stars
Tried several other filters, bigger and more expensive. They work well but upon getting a new sub zero refrig, I was surprised to see there was no filter for the ice maker and water dispenser. The plumber hooked it up to the city water. Well the ice was bad tasting and the copper line he used developed pin hole leaks (corrosion from elements in the water) I went on the hunt for a water filter. I got this one, it uses plastic lines and replaceable cartridges. Right away the water was better tasting and the ice was excellent as well. They make 4 different levels of filtering depending on what your problem is. I have been using level one, and it is great and the cartridge will last for 3000 gallons. If there is a downside to me it would be the flow rate. This is intended for a refrig/ice makers, don't expect to put out a fire with this. But for coffee and drinking water...this is a great product.
Customer Review: GREAT FILTER!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Purchased this undersink system and had it installed as as part of a kitchen remodel. AWESOME FILTER! We are on a municipal source that has a strong chlorine taste, and a nasty odor. We are accustomed to buying lots of bottled water, but not anymore! Since a professional installed the unit, I cannot speak to the ease of installation. However, the item does perform as hoped. It removed the chlorine smell and taste, as well as the other smells from the water. So much more elegant than the filters that fit on the end of the facuet, and the price difference is worth the investment. My only complaint is that the little chrome/plastic faucet may not hold up to heavy use, but that's an easy replacement with a better one should it fail. I would highly recommend this item.
Customer Review: Save yourself some grief Summary: 3 Stars
Save yourself some grief (and money) by just buying the icemaker filter and a separate quality faucet rather than this kit. The faucet was broken upon arrival and after reading the reviews this is a common problem. I'm just thankful that it was already broken rather than breaking after installation and flooding the house. While the faucet was nice looking it has a major flaw in design. The filter itself is the same filter sold as an icemaker filter, is a great filter and pairs up nicely with a quality GE or Watts faucet sold locally or on Amazon. The only difference is that you will have to supply your own plumbing fittings for the water supply. Much cheaper than buying the kit and throwing away the faucet (which is what has to be done with it)
Customer Review: Works great for us! Summary: 5 Stars
I searched the internet for the best deal I could find on a drinking water filtration system. I finally settled on this one. It was relatively easy to install - I have basic homeowner project skills. It works great - water tastes great. I haven't replaced the filter yet.
It did come with a cheap plastic faucet. I did opt for another faucet that Amazon recommended. In hind sight, I think I should have used the faucet that came with the package. It didn't look that bad and the switch to turn on the water isn't spring loaded. At this point, I don't want to take it apart to try the original faucet. Besides, my wife likes it and I learned long ago not to mess with a finished project after is has been "approved."
