In my municipality, the water is chlorinated pretty heavy. When I took hot showers, my skin would itch and breathing all the chlorine steam was no good either. I have been using this product for 2 years now and think it is great. If you can't afford or install a whole house filtration system, than this is for you. Yet, not perfect. I don't have the equipment to measure the amount of pollutants it removes from my shower water, but it does take out most (but not all chlorine), and for this price that's all I really care about. The filter that came with the shower head didn't last long, but this is much better and is living up to expectations. No regrets, highly recommended.Customer Review: The filter doesn't last

In my case, except the first filter that came with the shower head, they never have lasted for more than one month (Usually I have to flip the filter after two weeks). We have only two persons using it once every day. That is just too short. I am sure that our water has that much stuff to clog the filter so quickly :( Maybe I have to look around for better ones.Customer Review: Culligan Handheld showerhead with filter

My granddaughter has long thick hair which makes it difficult for her to shampoo properly. This product allows her to rinse both the dirt and the shampoo out of her hair. But, my daughter says that she is hooked on it too because the filter doesn't allow the hard water to dry her skin out. The way they are raving, I think I will have to get myself one soon.Customer Review: water feels good

Filter was easy to replace and seems to do a good job... my girlfriend felt that her skin wasn't as dry after showers and I think the water feels good. The water pressure isn't as strong as before installing the filter, but it is still quite good... guess that all depends on the water pressure one has before installing it.
