Tools and Hardware Reviews of Culligan WSH-C125 Wall-Mount 10,000 Gallon Capacity Filtered Showerhead, Chrome FinishCustomer Review: Excellent product Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using the Culligan WHS-C125 Wall-Mount Filtered Showerhead for about two weeks now and everything that the manufacturer promised is true. It was extremely easy to install, my skin is softer and I don't need to use as much shampoo, or lotion on areas of my body that usually required it. I've also noticed that my shower is cleaner with virtually no hard water spots. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone who wants to save money (less shampoo, soap, or shower gel needed to get clean and less lotion used, not to mention cleaning solutions), wants to reduce chemicals from their lives (chlorine), and wants to give their children cleaner water for baths. This product is a no brainer. If you're just thinking about getting a filtered showerhead, this is the one to get!
Customer Review: does not solve hard water problem. Summary: 3 Stars
i got this item because of all the people talking about how wonderful it was for hard water... but this doesnt do anything for hard water. the filter is for chlorine n stuff, not hard water. my water is just as hard as its ever been, only difference is it doesnt sting as much when it gets in my eyes -- not that useful. plus the water pressure is somewhat weak and this cannot be fixed, even when following the instructions to remove restriction on flow. my skin and hair is just as dry as it used to be with my old shower head, with no filter. if youre getting this for hard water, keep looking -- thats not what this thing is for. if youre getting it because it looks cool or because the listed features (the real ones, not the made up ones in reviews), then this is a decent shower head.
Customer Review: Great Pressure Summary: 5 Stars
Have been using this shower filter head for a couple of weeks, I am very happy with it. Easy to install. I had very good water pressure out of my old showerhead, but this is even better. The massage setting is killer! The normal shower setting is great as well.
I bought this chlorine filter after I read the book "The Truth About Beauty" by Kat James. She tells how chlorine in our city water affects our skin, hair and internally since we breathe the mist while showering. The water does smell cleaner, my hair is fuller and I have more natural curl. Also when I skip a day washing my hair, my scalp does not feel dirty after just one day not washing it.
I feel this is one more product to improve my health & well-being.
Customer Review: Good Showerhead for the Money Summary: 4 Stars
I've been using the Culligan Filtered Showerhead for about four months. It softens the hard water that comes from my boiler, and eliminates the slight sulfur smell that it carried. Dry skin is markedly reduced, without a change in soap. The showerhead achieves a useful increase in water pressure, and offers several pleasant settings.
Construction is a bit flimsy: this is chromed plastic, not brass or steel. Once mounted, you wouldn't know it. Water pressure has twice broken through the seal to the filter compartment. Simply unscrewing the compartment a few turns, then screwing it back in, resolves the issue.
This is not a lifetime piece of plumbing, but it does what it claims, affordably and unobtrusively. I would recommend it.
Customer Review: Want Soft Hair? GET THIS Summary: 5 Stars
Vary rarely do I find products that warrants a write-up or going back to the site of purchase to warn/commend a product for others, but this is my once a year "Great Product" write up. This product is easy to put on and comes with tape for a tight, leak-proof fit. I found right away that this product made the few remaining hairs on my head soft, FROM THE FIRST SHOWER! It is so good my girlfriend keeps coming over to take showers.
When I come across a good product I give it out to everyone as a Christmas gift and you can be sure this shower head will be in all of my family's stockings this year. The only complaint I have is it is big and a little unsightly, but for softer hair and better skin, I can deal with an ugly showerhead.
