Tools and Hardware Reviews of Culligan WSH-C125 Wall-Mount 10,000 Gallon Capacity Filtered Showerhead, Chrome Finish

Customer Review: Great overall showerhead
Summary: 5 Stars

Very simple to install, no hassle at all. Had it up and running within 10 minutes. The included filter is durable and gives you the replacement code (WHR-140) to buy. Works great on any standard shower. The shower head is durable and screws in easily. One thing to note, it does include Teflon (the very thin layer of wrapping) that goes around your existing shower nozzle (where the water comes out of from the wall) in order to create a better seal. On the pivot point of the shower-head (the smooth nozzle where you rotate it) you will need to save some of this extra Teflon to wrap it around so it will hold in place when you move it. Otherwise, it will just go limp and not hold in the place you put it. Great product and definitely worth the money!

Customer Review: Great results so far
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been using this for about a week now. I've already noticed better skin and hair. The biggest thing for me, that was unexpected, is that I no longer have dry and "ashy" (as women describe it) skin. I thought that was just how my skin was, but as it turns out, it had a lot to do with my water. It is very odd to look at my arm or especially my knees or elbows and have it look totally moisturized. I don't think I've seen it look like this since I was a child. Awesome.

I just hope the filter lasts a decent amount of time. The replacement cost is $12 here on amazon, though, so not too bad at all. Compare that with my $40+ filter for my fridge that needs replacing at least every 6 months (or else you can't get any more water out of it).

Customer Review: Great Price and It Won't Break
Summary: 5 Stars

After going through two GE shower filters that simply snapped off when I turned on the water, I found this fantastic show head (with filter). It's not just a nice design but has five adjustable spray heads (how many do you need?). It slipped right on to my ½" shower pipe. The spray is plenty powerful enough and the cost is very reasonable. Unlike most filters that need replacement after three months, the Culligan goes for six months and is only about $12 bucks. I don't mind the smell of chlorine, but when I heard it can cause skin irritation and hair loss, plus all the other chemicals in the water, I wasted no time in getting this spray head. No more GE filter attachments that break for me. I'll get back to you on the hair loss.

Customer Review: Great filter
Summary: 5 Stars

We've been using this filter for three months now, and it works wonderfully. Simply screw it on the pipe, and you're ready to go. The head is not too big, not too small, and the different settings are useful. There has been no noticeable change in water pressure. Other things I noticed when we started using the filter-

1. My eyes don't turn itchy and red when I take a shower anymore.
2. Gradually, my hair has stopped falling. ( I was having trouble with hairloss and the doctor could not find any reason for it. Now I think it was the chlorine.)

The original cartridge has lasted us for three months (with two people using it daily) and I just bought a replacement on Amazon.

Customer Review: Sweet Relief
Summary: 4 Stars

I was suffering from dry skin and hair due to the hard water and the high desert climate I live in. This filtered shower head was a great inexpensive solution. Paid only $21 on amazon. Now my hair and skin are soft despite the desert climate. It was very easy to install, I had it up in under 5 minutes. Replacement filters will run about $8 but I haven't replaced mine yet. The only con I have is that it is a little hard to switch spray modes on the unit. Also the tension that holds the shower head is a little loose and doesn't firmly hold the sprayer when adjusted. It does hold but the tension is very slight. I'm sure this would be easy to fix, I guess it hasn't bothered me enough to do so.
